Christine Beecher-Tomlinson's Obituary
Dr. Christine Angela Beecher-Tomlinson, A woman who smiled with the world and the world smiled with her. She succumbed to Breast Cancer on Friday, February 3, 2012 surrounded by family members and friends at her home in Smyrna, Georgia. She attended St. Richard's elementary school, Meadowbrook High School and then the University of the West Indies at Mona, Kingston Jamaica. After graduating from Howard University School of Dentistry in 1987, she returned to Kingston, Jamaica where she started her dental practice. She married George Tomlinson, a businessman, in 1997, and the union was blessed with a son Preston in August 1998. In January 2002 the family moved to Smyrna when she started to work as an associate in Robert's Family Dentistry in Decatur. In April 2009 she opened her own practice, Parkway At Vinings Dentistry on Cobb Parkway where she built an excellent reputation for patient care. She left behind, husband George, son Preston, mother Louise, father Gladstone Beecher, brother Maurice Beecher, sister Janice Mckenley, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends. No floral arrangements please, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society in her name.
