Dear Charles, you lived hard and fast, but I saw another gentler and kind-hearted side of you that you tried to hide. A "Tete-a-Tete" between you and me. You were definitely a "Man on a Mission" and I hope and pray that you are resting your weary bones and at Peace. Some of our times together were some of the most fun times I have ever had and probably will ever have. You know though, there were tough times for me too during the many roller coaster rides you and Rich took which broke my heart over and over. Despite that, I always cared for you and loved Rich too much to pull my head out of the sand. I send my sincere condolences to Steve and Justin and all of Charles' friends who loved him.

I talked to him three weeks ago while he was holding his new grandson I believe right after he was born, and he was so excited about the new addition to the Thompson family..
