Charles "Charlie Boy" Butler's Obituary
Mr. Charles H. "Charlie Boy" Butler, 70 of Temple, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Mr. Butler retired as a self-employed plumber and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Keith Price. Survived by sons, Rusty & Shanda Butler of Douglasville, Johnny Butler & Ashley Seabolt of Temple; daughters, Tracy & Terrell Harmon of Rockmart, Donna Jennings of Lagrange; step-daughters, Brenda Rowland of Powder Springs, Rebecca Barnett of Whitesburg, Nan Crankshaw of Temple, Margaret Downing of Douglasville, Jackie Price of Lithia Springs, Robin Newman of Douglasville, Lynn Lindsey of Winston, Deborah Sewell of Hiram; mother of his children and step-children, Mattie Lindsey of Douglasville; 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and brother, Tony & Jackie Butler of Lagrange. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday at the Davis-Struempf Chapel. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
