To Mr. Ronnie Sims and family: I am praying for you and your family, asking God to comfort and help you during this difficult time. Cecile was a sweet, godly lady. She came to our services at Silver Comet Village and sang along with the others while she was able to do so. Remember this: We can see her again when we all get to Heaven! She is now safe and well, in the arms of Jesus!

When we moved to area in 1981 I remember sharing with our Sunday school class how lonely I was moving here and not having any friends. The next morning the phone rang and it was Cecile calling to tell me she to put some coffee on as she was coming over with a coffee cake. That say such a sweet friendship started and loved this precious sister in Christ from that day forward. Our children were close in age and we had many sweet times together. Will always have this special place in my heart for this very special friend. You will be missed, Lesley Waldrep

My heart goes out to Ronnie and the family over Cecile's passing, but I rejoice with them in the confidence that she is happy and welcomed into the Kingdom of God. I will always remember her visit to John and me upon the birth of our son, James, at which time she brought us a devotional book for our newborn son.

I worked with Cecile during her years at Russell Elementary. I remember how proud she was of her children and grandchildren, and her love for them and Ronnie. We shared a mutual love of Christ , and had many wonderful conversations sharing our faith . My deepest sympathies to her family. I hope you know how special you all were to her!
