My family visited cousin Michele regularly as we grew up. Originally, we would visit at Christmas when they lived in Oklahoma and then the 4th of July and Christmas in Florida. During those times, she shared her love for books. I remember finding out that Alice in Wonderland was more than just one book. I got to read through as many of the books as she had over the years of visiting in Oklahoma. Then later, we talked and I mentioned I didn’t like science fiction and she said oh you have to read Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game. I loved it and read every book in the series. It is still my favorite series. Thank you Michele. Of course, it should go without saying that I loved her own books that she wrote. I love you Michele!
