C.W. Bruner,age 78 of Austell passed away Monday, March 31, 2014.Known as "Opa" to his family. He retired from Local #926 and loved to build race car engines. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ingrid Bruner; children, Mike & Linda Bruner of Douglasville, Eric & LaNette Bruner of Hiram and Pete Bruner of Austell; 5 grandchildren, Mike Bruner, Jr., Kristy Isbell, Alicia DeMarco, Adam Bruner, Shaw Bruner and his guardian angel who preceded him in death, Joshua Bruner and 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Lou Jarvis and Peggy Knight both of IL; sister-in-law, Chris & family of Germany. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11:00 AM, Davis-Struempf Chapel. Rev. Michael G. Bruner and Rev. Matt Couch officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
