Bruce Edward Estes' Obituary
Bruce Edward Estes, age 91, of Dallas passed away December 9, 2016. Bruce was a member of the Lost Battalion that served during World War II. He loved woodworking and traveling. Bruce is survived by his wife, Edna Estes; children, Sue (Joe) Newton of Thomaston and Tim (Peggy) Estes of Dallas; step-children, Joy (Rodney) Farris of Dallas and Becky (Rick) Nix of Marietta; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 12, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randal Whitten officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM before the service. Interment to follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Toys for Tots, http://toysfortots.org/donate/toys.aspx.
