Brian C. Durham Sr.'s Obituary
Brian Durham Sr., age 70, of Marietta passed away March 14, 2018. He was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where he served passionately for the Missionaries of the Poor. Brian retired as owner of Durham Companies. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Edward Durham. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maureen Cunningham Durham; children, Kate (John) Morris of Canton, Maureen (Sean) Richards of Alpharetta, Peggy (Andy) Lawrence of Canton, and Brian (Jennifer) Durham Jr. of Cumming; grandchildren, Molly and Anna Morris, Allison and Matthew Richards, Tom, Elizabeth, and A.J. Lawrence, Avery Durham, and Katelyn Cruz; brothers, Peter Durham of Buffalo, NY, and Barry Durham of Cherry Log, GA; a host of nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Michael Battaglia of Rochester, NY. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 19th, 12:00 PM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Private family only Interment will follow the service at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Missionaries of the Poor in care of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4300 King Springs Rd SE, Smyrna, GA 30082.
