Brenda Lewis Redman's Obituary
Brenda Lewis Redman, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to all, went to be with her Lord on February 3, 2026 at the age of 80.
Brenda was born in Atlanta to Walter and Margaret Lewis. She graduated from South Cobb High School, Class of 1963, and went on to obtain her degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia.
For many years, Brenda was a beloved teacher at First Baptist Church of Bremen. She adored the kids she taught, who fondly recall Brenda’s gentle spirit, positivity, and eternal bowl of M&Ms on her desk. After her time at First Baptist, Brenda shifted into an administrative role at Ed Voyles Automotive Group.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Margaret Lewis; husband, Roy Redman; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Anne Wasdin; and two grandchildren, Abigail Elisa Wasdin and Samuel Luke Wasdin.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Scott Wasdin (Crystal) of Durham, NC; step-daughter, Marion Wasdin of Treasure Island, FL; siblings, Jimmy Lewis (Susan) of Mableton, Randy Lewis (Vickie) of Powder Springs, Ronnie Lewis (Melanie) of Austell, and Cheryl Gray of Mableton; grandchildren, Joshua, Xander, Matthew, and Emma; and many beloved extended family and friends.
A memorial service honoring Brenda’s life will be held at a later date. Entombment will take place at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. Please check back for service details.
