Brenda Joyce Hall's Obituary
Brenda Joyce Hall, age 70, of Kennesaw passed away, Friday, February 10, 2023. Brenda was born in Atlanta to Buddy and Peggy Oliver, and grew up in the Mableton area. She graduated from Pebblebrook High School and then attained her Associates from Truett-McConnell College. Education was Brenda’s passion, so she later went back to school at Kennesaw State for her Bachelors. Brenda was a long-time educator for Cobb County Schools, from which she retired in 2020. In her free time, she loved lounging on the beach and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Joyce Oliver; and infant twins, Holly and Amanda. She is survived by her father Marion “Buddy” Oliver of Mableton; children, Brent Hall of Kennesaw and Mindy Brown (husband, Adam) of Montrose, PA; siblings, Pam Darnell (husband, Larry) of Smyrna, Cindy Walker (husband, Bill) of Canton, and Laurie Bridges (husband, Bob) of Marietta; grandchildren, Karcyn Hall and Andrew Brown; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 16th, 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM before the service.
