Bonnie Laverne Sailors' Obituary
Bonnie Laverne Sailors, age 87 of Winston, GA, formerly of Austell, GA passed away January 24, 2017. She worked at General Shoe in Atlanta, Mary’s Ceramic’s and Terry Lynn’s shop in Mableton, GA. She was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Austell, GA. She loved her home, ceramics, and her family to the fullest. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Harold Sailors Sr. and son, James Thomas Sailors. She is survived by her children, Russell “Rusty” Sailors, Rebecca (Glynn) Sheridan, and Jimmy (Jeanee) Sailors; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Bearden and Rev. Jeff Priest officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
