Bobby Doggrell's Obituary
Bobby Doggrell, age 87, of Mableton passed away June 22, 2021. Bobby was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. Bobby loved to help others, and in his free time did small engine repairs. He enjoyed playing bingo, telling jokes, and making others smile.
Bobby is preceded in death by his brothers, Shelton Doggrell and Walter Doggrell; sister, Jean Ganoe; and grandson, Dalton Doggrell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Peggy Doggrell; daughter, Teresa (husband, Billy) Kelley of Piedmont, AL; son, Garrell (wife, Linda) Doggrell of Douglasville; and daughter, Michelle (husband, Toby) Wilson of Midlothian, TX; grandchildren, Scott, Roy, Blake, Bobby, Ivey, and Lacey; and beloved extended family.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 27th, 3:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Dr. Farren Roper officiating.
Interment will occur on Monday, June 28th, at Anniston Memorial Gardens in
4000 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206, at 1:00 PM EST/ 12:00 PM CST.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
