Bob Wallace's Obituary
Mr. Robert James Wallace, age 66 of Powder Springs, passed away on June 28, 2011. He attended Floyd Road Baptist Church. Bob retired as a machinist from the Atlanta Journal Constitution after twenty-two years. He also worked as a machinist for twenty-one years for Atlantic Steel. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janice Stephens Wallace;
children, Ronny Wallace of Douglasville, Donny Wallace of Powder Springs, and Paulette Wallace Crider of Douglasville; twelve grandchildren; brothers, Grady Wallace of Douglasville, and Arnold Wallace of Dacula; sisters, Mabel Mahaffey of Conyers, and Sue Bales of Temple; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 – 8 PM. Funeral service will be held at the Davis-Struempf Chapel on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Burman Cape officiating. Interment will follow at River View Memorial Gardens.
