Billie Frances Wyatt's Obituary
Billie F. Wyatt, of Austell passed away peacefully February 26, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Wyatt Sr.; sister, Elizabeth Jones; and brother, Charles Stone. She is survived by her son, Glenn Wyatt Jr. (Eileen); daughter, Faith Boone (Robert) ; six grandchildren, Sayward Masselter (Michael), Tyler Boone (Jessica), Emily Loden (Dustin), Amy Boone, Justin Boone (Kimberly), and Hannah Shead (Johnny); nine great-grandchildren, Beata, Corinne, Ruby, Alice, June, Wyatt, Annabelle, Ezra, Violet; and many nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Austell High School, she married Glenn E. Wyatt in 1950. Before starting a family, she worked as a secretary for Warner Brothers Studios in Atlanta. In 1972, Billie, Glenn Sr., and Glenn Jr. founded Atlanta West Carpets in Austell, moving the business to Lithia Springs in 1976. After Billie and Glenn Sr.'s retirement in 1992, they resided in Mexico Beach, Florida for many years before returning home to Austell.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1st, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM before the service.
Interment will follow the service at Rose Hill Cemetery.
