William "Bill” Guy Simmons, age 76 of Acworth passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. He was Born March 25, 1938 in Muncie, Indiana ,son of the late Lawrence and Teresa Simmons of Muncie, Indiana; a graduate of Muncie Central High S Read Obituary
I met Bill through his brother Ed at Björklunden in Door County Wisconsin in 2011. We enjoyed having him in our photography seminar so much and I was amazed at his hidden talent in photography! I called him the Ansel Adams of our class! We are very sad to hear of his passing but so glad we got to know him and enjoy him and share in special memories together. We enjoyed being with Bill during the short times we had together. Although we never got to know him well, we became fast friends with you, Jeanne, and wish all good things for your future.
I will never forget that smile and hardy laugh. I didn't think anybody laughed like me until I met one Bill Simmons.
Bill was a great guy and a true mentor it was shock to hear of his passing he was a very down to earth individual he will be truly missed.

What a gentle spirit and a contagious smile.Bill set such wonderful example for so many. When I think of Micah 6:8 "He hath shown thee, O man, what is good: and what doth the Lord require of thee but to do justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" I will remember Bill's example.

Jeanne and family, I just watched Bill's video. I laughed (he was such a goof sometimes) and I cried (selfish tears for the dear friend I will miss), but his was truly a life well lived. So glad I was there to share some of it.
