Bill Lamar Hester's Obituary
Bill Lamar Hester age 73 of Powder Springs passed away Thursday July 3, 2014. He retired as a Brick Mason. Lamar was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis & Lena Hester, sister, Grace Dilbeck, brothers, Paul Hester, Jimmy Hester and James Pittman. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Hester; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny & Donna Hester of Powder Springs, Robbin & Laura Hester of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Zachary & Mallori Hester of Marietta and Maegan Hester of Powder Springs; brothers, Daril Hester of Mableton, Robert & Louise Hester of Winston, sister and brother-in-law, Irma & L.D. Loudermilk of Douglasville; many nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday 2:00 PM, Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Ron Burgess and Rev. David Gresham officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3-8 PM at the funeral home.
