Bill Crowder's Obituary
William Ford “Bill” Crowder passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 at his home in Alpharetta. Bill was born in Atlanta to the late Jack and Mildred Crowder. Bill was a graduate of Marietta High School and Tennessee Technical School.
Bill was a professional farrier, and he served as an official farrier for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. From his teens, and until the age of 47, Bill was a competitive rodeo cowboy. He earned championship titles in both bronc riding and bullriding. With his brother Charlie, Bill owned Circle C Rodeo Productions, and for over 20 years, produced annual rodeos benefiting local charities.
Bill is survived by one son, Clay Crowder, grandsons Henry and Eli, brothers Charlie and Jack, step-mother Winona, and many nieces and nephews.
