Beverly Ophelia Dye's Obituary
Beverly Usry Dye, age 77, of Powder Springs passed away Thursday October 29, 2015. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church where she sang in the senior choir. She retired from Bellsouth in 1991 as an engineer. Beverly was a volunteer at Wellstar Cobb Hospital, and an avid shopper at Belk. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Edward Dye; and her son, Wayne Edward Dye. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Dye of Powder Springs; granddaughter, Jessica Gamblin of Powder Springs; and great-granddaughter, Leilah Gamblin. She is also survived by her sisters, Marguerite Aquino of Avon Lake, Ohio; and Lorice Robinson of Pine Mountain, Georgia; her brothers, Bill Usry of Comer; and James C. Usry of Lawrenceville; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday October 31, 2015 at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Chris Humphries and Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Family will receive friends Friday October 30, 2015 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Austell.
