Betty Finch's Obituary
Betty Sailors Finch, age 86, of Austell passed away November 13, 2019. Betty will be remembered as a sweet, unselfish, and loving person. She always thought of others first. She loved her cats, plants, but most of all, she adored her family. And if you knew Betty, you knew her favorite thing to do was clean! In her house, the dishwasher and washing machine were always running. In her earlier days, she enjoyed camping, but as the years went on, she still loved to travel and see new sights. Betty exemplified a generous spirit and will be dearly missed.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Harold Finch; brother, Harold Sailors; and sister, Shirley Wade. She is survived by her children, Larry (Karen) Finch of Powder Springs, Tammy (Tim) Brown of Cumming, and Greg Finch of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Jason (Amanda) Finch, Kourtney (Levi) Alday, Carey (Ben) Hornsby, Lindsey (Ryan) Caruthers, Harrison Finch, Ashley (Mitchell) Agee, and Carson Finch; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Alday, Addison Alday, Olivia Alday, Strickland Finch, and Ruby Hornsby; and dear friends, Johnnie Chambers, Jane Binion, Linda & Neal Brooks, and Dot Sanders.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 17th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow the service at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM before the service.
