Betty June Curtis' Obituary
Betty June Curtis born Betty June Peceny on July 15, 1932 in Sioux City Iowa of parents June and Glen Peceny. Betty and her mother move to Texas where she meet and married Richard Benjamin Curtis. Betty raised her daughter in Houston, TX and after the death of her husband relocated to Georgia with her daughter, granddaughter and son n law.
Betty worked as pediatric nurse, promotional sales person for 30 plus years, medical office management, selfless community volunteer especially in the schools her family attended. Founding member of Houston Humane Society pet rescue. Active member Junior League of Houston a charitable social organization. Long time member of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Houston, TX. Betty also enjoyed the many destinations she visited with her travel club through the years.
Betty a devoted wife and mother was a beloved grandmother who’s last 15 years have been truly devoted to watching and helping her granddaughter grow and mature. For those lucky enough to have enjoyed her friendship you always felt blessed after seeing her.
Betty was survived by her daughter Page Rubash, granddaughter Haley Rubash, son n law Brad Rubash and her half brother Joe Allan Peceny.
