Betty Lee Byrd's Obituary
Betty Lee Byrd, age 86 of Douglasville, passed away September 19, 2019. Betty retired as a secretary to her late husband, Sheriff Earl D. Lee of Douglas County Sheriff Department in 1992. She was a member of Lithia Springs Baptist Church. She really loved the beach, especially going shelling on Sanibel Island. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Earl D. Lee and Fred Byrd. She is survived by daughters, Susan (Dennis) Reed of Carrollton, Lynne (Dale) Parrish of Temple and Kathi (Len) Landrum of Long Beach, MS; Grandchildren, Cortney (Danny) North, Clinton (Wendy) Reed, Dustin (Alyssa) Reed, Elizabeth (Austen) Sloan, Neyland Trantham and Cecelia Trantham; and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clinton Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
