Betty Jo Barnard's Obituary
Betty Jo Barnard, age 91, of Dallas passed away December 26, 2019. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chattahoochee. For 28 years, she was a beloved part of Turner Middle School. Betty will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Mack C. Barnard. She is survived by her children, Rita (Steve) Cochran of Douglasville, Denise Ezell of Dallas, Tim (Patty) Barnard of Jasper, and Mark (Michelle) Barnard of Hiram; grandchildren, Stevie, Shelley, Timmy, Bradley, Kayla, Adam, Kelsey, and Ashley; nine great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jean Smith and Judy Peavy; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28th, 2019, 12:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. David Post officiating. Interment will follow the service at Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 to 12:00 PM.
