Bertha "Tutu" Williams' Obituary
Bertha “Tutu” Williams, 67 passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023.
Tutu was known for giving herself to others. Even through her endeavors, she still made the time and effort to be there for people she cared for. She was a committed nurturer who helped those in need, whether it was through assistance or simply a shoulder to cry on. She proved her loyalty. She was a known workaholic. She was a loving provider for her family and carried the role of both mother and father.
Tutu took time to care for herself by cooking homemade meals, decorating, and “salvaging”. She loved to spend her time outside caring for her plants and yard. She was the “loving & caring mother”, through and through.
Tutu, you will always be in our hearts, we will never forget you! We will always love you, despite our differences.
She is preceded in death by her son, Wendell Dowdell Jr., and brother, Alvin Majors.
She is survived by her son, Demarkio Williams and his significant other, Alisia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jace Williams, Ares Williams, Nevaeh Dowdell, and Zion Dowdell.
