Barbara Charlene West's Obituary
Barbara “Charlene” West, age 71, of Douglasville, formerly of Conyers passed away October 6, 2016. Barbara was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Sr. and Elizabeth West of Conyers. Surviving are her brothers, Michael (Sue) West of Hiawassee, James (Kathryn) West Jr. of McDonough, and Joe (Martha) West of Social Circle; sister, Ruth Floyd of Douglasville; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 9th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James West officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM before the service. Interment will follow at Davis Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Awana Children's Ministry at Mableton First Baptist.
