Ava Faye Bennett's Obituary
Ava Faye Bennett, age 87, of Mableton passed away November 21, 2017. Ava was a very active member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Austell Senior Center. She loved her God and Christ and enjoyed doing Wednesday Bible Study at Calvary. Ava would send between 20 and 30 greeting cards filled with pages of jokes that everyone enjoyed. She is survived by her daughter, Genie B. (James) Thompson; son, William T. “Bill” (LuAnne) Bennett, Jr.; and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25, 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow the service at Crest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 7:30 PM.
