Aubrey Nell Jordan's Obituary
Aubrey Nell Jordan, age 51, beloved Child of God left us too early on September 25, 2025.
Aubrey was born in Frankfurt, Germany to Kenneth and Terri Jordan, but she spent her formative years in Austell. She was a graduate of South Cobb High School, Class of 1992, and Georgia Highlands College, Class of 2024.
Aubrey’s grace and faith was apparent in everything she did. Her beautiful voice was used to bring joy to others and to exalt her Lord and Savior. Her strength of character shone through in her kindness and dedication to those she loved. Aubrey loved her family fiercely. Family time was most important, and we will dearly cherish all the memories made while traveling, at holiday parties, or simply sitting around and chatting with her. Jimmy was the love of her life and she made sure that everyone knew how proud she was of him. Aubrey’s devotion to her nieces and nephew was unmatched, and she enjoyed mentoring them and watching them grow into wonderful people.
With varied interests, Aubrey was always a joy to be around. She possessed a wit and intelligence that made her engaging. She loved history, cooking, her plants, and being around loved ones. Aubrey was a precious daughter, sister, fiancée, aunt, and friend that will be deeply missed by those who love her.
Aubrey is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Terri Jordan of Molena; fiancé, Jimmy Jenness of Douglasville; sisters, Amanda Smith (Smitty) of Douglasville and Angela Wilson (Scottie) of White Plains; nieces and nephews, Alexis Wagener (Cody), Morgan Smith, Madison Smith, and Ashton Wilson; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many beloved extended family and friends.
A funeral service honoring Aubrey’s life will be held Monday, September 29, 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Powder Springs City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
