Asegid "Ace" Ayalew's Obituary
Asegid "Ace" Ayalew, age 48, of Mableton died Sunday, March 3, 2013. The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 16th 1:00PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. Ace Ayalew, age 48 died unexpectedly in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, March 3rd, 2013. He is survived by his daughter Anna Ayalew, wife Bileni Teklu, and father Shimelis Nadew.
Ace, an only child to his father, came to the States from his native country of Ethiopia in 1985. He settled in Los Angeles, CA where he started working in the automotive industry. By the time he had moved to Atlanta in 1998, he had risen through the ranks to become senior management at his company. Later in his career, he worked as an independent IT consultant. As a self-taught man, he was able to navigate the IT world just as easily as the worlds of carpentry, cooking, landscaping just to name a few.
Ace was a generous and friendly man. He possessed an unusual calmness which drew many people to him. He was never pretentious and chuckled at his wife's urgings to use his genius to make them rich. To his daughter, he was everything a father could ever be and more. To his father, he was the one and only, the beloved.
There are no words to describe how his untimely death will affect us all. We are only left with the memories of times spent with him and we promise to keep him alive in our hearts.
