Arthur Moon's Obituary
Mr. Arthur Rogers Moon, age 93 of Villa Rica passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013. He retired from Hershey's Chocolate after 31 years and served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. His favorite hobbies were hunting and wood crafting.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Moon; sons & daughters-in-law, Rogers & Sheila Moon of Brandon, Oregon, Tony & Miriam Moon of Powder Springs, Mike & Tammy Moon of Carrollton, Ken & Laura Moon of Temple; daughters & sons-in-law, Patricia & Jimmy Dean of Blue Ridge, Kay Coffee of Dallas, Phyllis & Tommy Paul of Loganville; brothers & sisters-in-law, Lamar & Barbara Moon of Smyrna, Jerry & Louise Toler of Mableton, John & Brenda Toler of Paulding County; sister, Ruby Kay Ray of Powder Springs; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 until 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, Austell.
