Armando Cuevas was 57 years old. He lived in Austell GA. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 7th, 2022.
Armando Cuevas was born to loving parents, the late Delfin Cuevas and Margarite Cuevas (10/25/1942). Armando is preceded in death by his father Delfin Cuevas, his brother Alex Cuevas and brother-in-law Julian Winn.
He was born in Yonkers, New York on July 8th, 1965. He graduated from Austin Community College with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Armando married his wife Sheila Cuevas (Winn). They were married for 25 years.
Armando joined the United States Army. He fought in the Gulf War. He proudly served his country from 1984-1992.
Armando loved his family dearly. He especially loved all of his grandchildren. He taught them all how to swim and he loved taking them fishing for their first time. He had a passion for watching sports of all kinds. He was a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys. His hobbies also included fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and barbecuing.
Armando leaves to cherish his memories his wife Sheila Cuevas (Winn), son Armando A.A. Cuevas (Ana Cuevas) and daughter Jasenia X. M. Cuevas- Briscoe (Xavier Briscoe), daughter Alegra Herring (and her son, Javion Smith), mother Margarite Cuevas, brothers Delfin Cuevas (Kristi Cuevas), Jose Cuevas and sister Marisol Cuevas. Grandchildren, Deana Cuevas, Ariana Burke, Xander Briscoe, Elizabeth Cuevas and Aniyah Briscoe. Mother-in-law Lillian Organ, brothers-in-law Mark A. Winn, Jason White Winn Jr., Marcus Winn, J. D. Winn II, nieces Raven Warberg, Santia Cuevas, Alexis Cuevas (Amora Tucker), Marisol Cuevas and Mia Rodriguez (Yalianys Rodriguez)(Jeromi Rodriguez)(Queen Santiago) Mercedes Winn and Mylah Winn, nephews Anthony Cuevas (Sandy Cuevas)( Aleksander Cuevas)(Elias Cuevas), Quinton Warberg, Ernesto Rodriguez (Ernesto Rodriguez III)(Mackenzie Rodriguez) and a host of great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday from 11:00AM to 3:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
