Arley W. Eison's Obituary
Arley W. Eison, 77, of Woodstock, GA passed away on May 28, 2026. Born in Aalen, Germany, Arley built a life defined by dedication to his family, his job, and to the things he loved.
He attended South Cobb High School and spent 47 years with Atlanta Gas Light Company, and was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Mableton, GA.
He was a lifelong Kentucky Wildcats fan, rarely missing a game and proudly wearing his blue. Even more than cheering for his Wildcats, he cherished watching his grandchildren play sports. The ballfields, bleachers, and gymnasiums (where he was known as Pop by everyone), were some of his happiest places to be.
He also enjoyed traveling, going to the lake with the “lake folks” and going out to dinner with all of his closest friends.
Arley is survived by his wife Michelle of 44 years, his children- Windy (Kevin), Candy (Danny), Shannon (Dale), and Arley B. (Erica); 8 grandchildren- Charlsie, Chasadie, Kevin, Colin, Carson, Arley (LB), Rhett (Toy), and Miller (G), and his 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 3:30 PM. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Sunday from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
