Arlene Stewart's Obituary
The world has lost a beloved mother and friend. It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Arlene A. Stewart announces her passing on Monday, May 31, 2021.
Arlene was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad on May 5, 1962 to Nina and Elton René. She graduated from the St. Joseph Catholic High School and went on to attend the College of the Virgin Islands (CVI) where she obtained a degree in Accounting. She was the mother of Kirsten, Desmond Jr., and Krystal Stewart. She raised her children with love and devotion in St. Croix, USVI.
Arlene was a career Accountant who, in her spare time, enjoyed cooking, baking and making delicious treats and drinks. She also enjoyed helping others and was most proud of her role as a grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elton H. René, and her brother Michael S. Herbert.
She is survived by her children Kirsten, Desmond Jr. and Krystal. Her grandchildren Kristion, Kaiden, Azariah, D’ Andre, Elijah and Harmony. Her mother Nina. Sisters Gail, Glenys and Tricia, and brother Kurt. Additional family members and loved ones include Cadilla, Dominique, Karen, Kerry, Dennison, Edlyn, Kerrianne, Tiffani, Michael Jr., Stacey Ann, Wade, Adrian, Shamella, and Justin. She has many more loving family and friends that are too numerous to mention.
