Mr. Anthony F. "Tony" Rucco, age 67 of Atlanta, passed away on November 22, 2009. Mr. Rucco was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. He served in the US Army and retired from Eagle Rock Distribution Company. Read Obituary

I join all your friends from our "cruise" in expressing our sincerest sympathy. One of the highlights of the cruise was meeting you and Tony and having the opportunity of spending those days with you. We have very happy and fond memories.

Tony's deep love and concern for others is the cornerstone of what our Faith is all about. When Jo Ann and I couldn't attend some of the dinner functions, he always set aside meals for both of us to enjoy. Helping others was his joy in life.
To the Rucco family, he will be sorely missed, but we can rejoice in knowing he rests in complete happiness in the arms of his Lord and Savior.##imported-begin##Joe Yorio##imported-end##
I had the pleasure of working with Tony at Eagle Rock for his last 6 years before retirement. He was a true professional and a good friend.
His love for his wife, Cindy, and children was always evident – both in his words and the many family photos proudly surrounding him in his office. His other great love was his time spent in service to his church. He will be greatly missed by us here on earth, but heaven has gained a “top chef”!##imported-begin##Barbara Proffitt##imported-end##

I am so saddened by the death of Tony, just as our whole parish was. He will be surprised to see how esteemed he is by our parishioners and by the community he served.
I remember his cooking and also his kindness. In 2002, I got my first computer and didn't know anything about configuring it. tony took time on a super bowl Sunday, to come over and put it together. I'll never forget that.
I will miss him sitting with you, Cindy, at Saturday Mass. When I first met you it was in the first pew, later behind there. But no matter where you all Sat, I was always glad to see you.
I know it will be hard to go on without him. May the everlasting arms of our Lord surround you all and heal your broken heart!s

Cindy & Family, We were so sorry to hear that Tony had passed on. We will miss seeing him at St Thomas at Mass or, in his apron, in the kitchen. We will also miss his sense of humor, his patriotism, his love for family and church that was reflected in his correspondence. It was with great sadness that we removed his name from the address book.

Dear Cindy & family: May God bless and strengthen you during this time of sorrow and loss. Our prayers are with you.
