Annette Alley Whitmire's Obituary
Annette Alley Whitmire, age 86, of Douglasville passed away September 8, 2020. Annette was a long-time member of Mt. Harmony Baptist and would regularly attend with her husband, William “Bill”. She loved being outdoors, and enjoyed camping trips with her family. Annette also enjoyed traveling and seeing all the beauty of our world. She will be dearly missed and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
Annette is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William “Bill” Whitmire. She is survived by her sons; Tim (Debbie) Whitmire of Douglasville, and William Keith (April) Whitmire of Temple; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 10th, 11:30 AM at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation at alz.org.
