Ms. Ann Hamby, age 55 of Austell passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008. She is survived by her Daughters, Carol Hollis of Dallas, Christy Hamby of Smyrna; Son, Jeremy Hamby of Austell; and Mother, Susie Hite of Austell. She had 3 Read Obituary
My thoughts and prayers are with Ann's entire family during this great lost. Ann was a wonderful woman, mother, daughter and friend with a great personality. I truly enjoyed working with her. I know she will be greatly missed here on earth but it is reassuring to know that if we all belong to the same Heavenly Father we will see her again. I also had te pleasure of working with Ann for many years and she was such a sweet lady to be around. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She will truly be missed. Ann is a woman who is admired by me. She was strong and carried her kids through a life full of challenges that would have torn many families apart. There were hard times, but it was her love and dedication that held her children together then and now. It is because of her love that we can all be together in awe of the strength of love. What I will always remember the most about her, is her laugh! She will always have a special place in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. I will cherish the many great memories I have of her. I had the pleasure of knowing Ann from working with her. She was a very special and loving person , who cared dearly for and about her kids. Ann is now in a better place but will forever be remembered.

My family and I want to reassure you all,that we will pull together,and become even stronger a family unit then we were when she was with us, that will be what she would be ever so proud of.To draw closer in this time of lose....I have a story as well,actually many,,but here is one i'd like to share...Aunt Ann, had a great sense of humor.I still remember her sly smile,it would get me every time!..But in a time of personal lose for my husband and i,a miscarriage,,she emailed me,and really comforted me,with her words of experience and wisdom..I will always remember Ann , she was a blessing,and still is..With much love, Mandy and billy Butler##imported-begin##Mandy Butler##imported-end##

Ann’s friendship at work was truly special to me, always bringing laughter to my day! She was a joy to have around, a true gem. I find joy in knowing she is in a better place. She will be missed and never forgotten!!

I will miss ann my sister so much.I know she is at home now with her dad and wayne.She was proud of you kids and I know she is happy seeing you kids come together as you have done. God will get you through the hard time.I have a couple stories to share.I have an angel at my house i have had for a long time.We had draped a purple ribbon around her which ann said was for her,so when she was having a bad day she would call me and say"Sue is that ribbon still around the angel and i would say yes and she would be fine but when she was having a good day she would call me and say "Sue put the ribbon in the freezer and freeze time.I would laugh but I would also do it.I will miss all those conversations we had.I gave her a single angel wing for christmas one year because we believed that when you are born god gives you one wing and you have to work for your second wing.Ann now has two wings and is a angel in heaven and I will miss her.##imported-begin##Sue Butler##imported-end##
My prayers are with you at this difficult time. Ann had such a loving heart for her family & all of us at work knew she would do anything for you whenever it was needed. She had a fun, sweet spirit & was such a peaceful person. I enjoyed working with her & could always count on her to help figure stuff out & be calm & collected working through any situation. It is with great sadness that I write this message in my dear friend's Guestbook. Ann was a true friend to me and I am truly blessed for the relationship I was allowed to build with her. I loved her.
We enjoyed our working days together, our lunches, dinners and long talks on the phone. She may have pulled inspiration from me but I also pulled it from her. Ann was the strongest woman I had ever met. We shared many tears together and enjoyed many laughs.
I know the LORD is welcoming her into his home and that she will be watching over us all. I pray that Carol, Christy and Jeremy pull on her strength and faith today and the days to come. This is a very hard time but know that your mom will be with you everywhere you go. Her spirit will live within you and you should continue your lives to make her proud. She always wanted nothing more than success, happiness and comfort for each of you. Your mother loved you heart and soul.
Lets celebrate that she is free of pain now and is in a place of happiness.
I will truly miss my dear friend.
