Althea Reece Landers 's Obituary
In memory of Althea Delores “Reece” Landers, loving mother and widow. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Willis Landers and married for over 52 years. Widowed for almost ten years. Mrs. Landers lived for 79 years and is survived by two children. Kathy Landers Nowlin of Powder Springs, Georgia and Terry Landers of Powder Springs, Georgia. She has four grandchildren; Paul Landers of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Russell Nowlin of Hiram, Georgia, Jesse Nowlin of Lithia Springs, Georgia, and Kelly Landers (deceased). She has eight great grand children. Mrs. Landers is also survived by her sisters; Ruth Jefferies of Menifee, California, Nancy Bermudas of Santee, California, Phoebe McGhee of Canton, Georgia, Nan Nesbitt of Mableton, Georgia, and Gail Hawkins of Powder Springs, Georgia. She also has one surviving brother; Hugh Reece of Temple, Georgia. Mrs. Landers was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Hiram, Georgia. She was active in the Paulding County “Red Hats” organization, Senior Center, and Paulding County Book Club.
