Allen Norman "Doc" Cash's Obituary
Allen Norman “Doc” Cash, age 76 of Powder Springs passed away September 25, 2021.
Doc was involved in many bowling leagues and played at Mableton Bowling Alley throughout his lifetime. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Doc graduated from South Cobb High School and went on to serve in the United States Army. He retired from Ft. McPherson in the printing and bindery department. Doc then worked for RR Donnelley Printing Company, where he also retired from.
Doc was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Hazel Cash; brother, Buddy Price and sister, Jackie Brookshire; daughter-in-law, Angela Cash.
He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Cash of Mableton; son, Carey Cash of Douglasville; daughter, Cami Cash of Hiram; grandchildren, Jordan Cash, Carsen “Bubba” Cash, Abbey Cash and Elizabeth “Lulu” Cash.
Doc is also survived by his beloved grand pups, Cobain, Chloe and Ranger.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tyler Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service Wednesday from 12:00-2:00 PM.
