I just wanted to give a testament of what a great person Alice was. Our birthday's were one day apart. She would send me a birthday card and I would call her the next day to wish her a "Happy Birthday". This past November Alice went to Texas to see about treatment. I believe she arrived back in Atlanta on Nov 12th. On Nov. 13th I received a call from her wishing me a Happy Birthday and get this she also apologized for not sending me a card. I assured her that I understood because of the circumstances. She then informed me that there was no excuse for not sending me a card. What a great lady...ALWAYS thinking of someone else! Alice was the most gentle and kind person i have ever met. She always had a smile and an uplifting word for everyone she met. Knowing her all these years has been a joy that i will always hold close to my heart. Alice is such a wonderful person. I can still see her smiling, always smiling. The Foster family has meant so much to me in my growing up at Davis Chapel and beyond. I'll always love Mr. and Ms. Foster, Alice, Carlton, Don, and Shirley, and, of course, Mr. Randy! To the family, my heartfelt sympathy. We have lost a dear, genuine friend. I'll always remember that smile and those bright blue eyes. She loved her family and friends. I can only imagine Alice walking her final walk on the beach that she so loved so very much. Rest in peace my friend.

Alice & I grew up together and I have so many wonderful memories of fun times we had together. We lost a wonderful person but heaven gained an angel. I will always remember her beautiful smile and uplifting spirit - and on top of all that, she was sooooo smart!

Randy we send our condolsances and Alice will greatly be missed. I am so glad that we had the time that the Lord gave to us to fellowship with Alice. She is now walking and breathing in the presence of our Lord Jesus. Sorry we could not be there but I just had surgery on 2/14 and not able to sit for a long time.

Dear Randy and family:
Our hearts are very saddened by Alice's early home going. When I think of Alice, I remember her as the loving, caring friend who always had a smile on her face, regardless of circumstances.

And, even through her darkest days the Lord gave her strength to keep that smile and that will always be my favorite memory of her. Just think about what she is probably doing today in that new healthy, happy, perfect body in Heaven with your families and the Lord.

I always thought we would all grow old together just as we grew up together, but God must have really needed a special angel and she was the perfect one for the job.

Everyone knows that the days ahead will be very difficult at best but stay close to your family and especially to the Lord. Listen for her laughter and share the wonderful memories of her life with others.

Let your friends blanket you with comfort and love as we share together in the earthly loss of our beloved Alice.

Praise God for sending His Son to die for us so that one day we will all be joined together once again in Heaven!
