So sad at the passing of Dan Lindstedt, and heartfelt condolences to Brenda and his family. Dan and the Lindstedt family were life-long friends of the Daniel’s. They were our first neighbors when my parents bought our Mableton home place in the early 1950s (several years before we moved here), quickly became great friends, and that friendship continued to the present. As teenagers and part of the “youth gang” at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, Dan was the oldest, wisest, and our leader. He set a great example for the rest of us while still engaging in and having fun with us. As life progressed, that friendship remained steadfast even as contact was less frequent than in those early years. Yet, it was always so comforting to know Dan and his family were just beyond the woods. Rest in peace, dear Dan. You will always be remembered.
