Alexi Anthony Breiner's Obituary
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 12th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
With broken hearts, we share the passing of Alexi Anthony Breiner, age 25, who left this world too soon on June 21, 2025. A bright light extinguished far too early, Alex will be remembered for the way he lived—with purpose, passion, and deep love.
Born in Queens, New York, to Susan Rivera Breiner, Alex was raised in Cobb County, Georgia, where he graduated from Campbell High School in Smyrna. Driven by a desire to serve and protect, Alex enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2017. He served honorably until 2022.
After his military service, Alex found a new calling in law enforcement and became a dedicated officer with the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department in Florida. There, he continued his mission to uplift and safeguard his community with integrity and compassion.
Alex was the kind of person who made an impression the moment he walked into a room—his smile disarming, his laughter contagious. Affectionately known as “Mr. GQ,” he took pride in presenting himself with style and grace, but it was his heart that left the deepest impact. He was thoughtful, inquisitive, and unafraid to ask hard questions. Children and animals were naturally drawn to him, sensing the gentleness of his spirit. His absence leaves a hole we will never be able to fill, but his light will forever live on in the lives he touched and the love he gave.
Alex is survived by his loving mother, Susan Rivera Breiner; his father, Alexis Rivera; maternal grandmother, Lana Breiner; grandfather, Jose Surita; siblings Kayla, Tatyana, Alyssa, and Xavier Rivera; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who became family.
