Though Alex’s time here was far too short, the light he brought with him was unmistakable. He was loving, genuine, and had a soul that touched everyone around him, especially his Titi, my best friend Erica Breiner.

One of my favorite memories is when Alex was just learning how to speak. Tiny feet patting around the house he’d march proudly chanting, “GGGG-UNIT!” With all the swagger and charm he could muster :)

He meant the world to Erica - and seeing how deeply he was loved makes it clear what a special spirit he was. His memory lives on, not just in stories like this, but in the love he gave so freely.

My deepest condolences to his parents, Susan & Alex, as well as his siblings, and all who loved him. Rest in Peace Lil’ Al. Love Sam

Breiner & I met in a course while I was deployed in Japan, he was so motivating & an inspiration to our class. He was so kind, confident & true to himself always. I remember one of our morning PTs we were literally going through it - BAD …. low crawling in the dirt etc. & somehow he continued to motivate us while making us laugh in the mist of pain. The true embodiment of a Marine & leader. My deepest condolences to his family & loved ones. God bless. <3

I am truly grateful to have met Alex through Mayra. Countless memories of great times overseas. Karaoke Master, without a doubt…. My condolences on his passing. I cannot imagine what everyone is going through but my heart and prayers are with you in these hard times.

I still can’t believe you’re gone brother. We got to island the same day and was rocking with each other ever since, became inseparable. From the crazy AV and Gate 2 nights (especially first day on island 😂😂) to the long nights in the barracks and the random adventures we went on. You will forever be missed brother. Alexi, or as many of us at Campbell called him, Alex, pulled me into a dance on senior prom night after we all walked off the stage from our senior walk in 2017.

It was something entirely unexpected even after sharing a few classes together that year. That memory is something I still think about to this day, & it makes me glad I went to prom & got to experience a moment like that with Alex.

Alexi Breiner pulled out his traffic vest and helped an elderly woman cross the road. I was like “Who does this in 2025?” Oh that’s right, Alexi does. That is the kind of guy he was. He was very compassionate and kind. But don’t take his kindness for weakness. He was courageous and fearless. No task to big or to small.

Rest peacefully Warrior. #588neverforgotten
