Adewale Ogunade's Obituary
Adewale “Wale” Ogunade was born in a small town in Western Nigeria called Ilesa on
May 2, 1965. His parents raised him as a Jehovah’s Witness and on November 28, 1981, at the age of 16, he was baptized.
Right from his baptism, Wale devoted his young life to the service of Jehovah. On December 20, 1986, he became a full-time regular Pioneer. Wale served in the full-time ministry, uninterrupted, for over 21 years. This included serving at the headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses at the Nigerian Bethel branch, where he worked in various departments, most notable, his adored Pressroom. While serving at Bethel, he met his beloved wife, Rose Ine. Wale and Rose served happily at Nigerian Bethel until 2003.
After leaving Nigeria, Wale and Rose relocated to the United States and attended the Pine Valley Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Wale served as an overseer of the Pine Valley Congregation until his death. Like his late mum, Wale loved to dance and entertain his family and friends.
In 2018, Wale was diagnosed with bone cancer, which inevitably led to his death. Even though Wale’s life may have been cut short, he faithfully served Jehovah God until the very end. Wale’s loved ones who are left behind can take comfort from Jehovah’s promise, that through his son Jesus Christ, Jehovah will recall all those in his memory and bring them back to life; into a world free from the tyranny of sin and death (John 5:28, 29). Adewale is survived by his wife Rose Ogunade and son William Ogunade. Brother Omoniyi Ogunade, Sisters Toyin Oguntimehin, Moronke Adeboyejo and Taiwo Ogundipe.
We cannot wait to see our son, brother, husband, father and friend again!
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 13th, 2:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Pine Valley Road in Powder Springs, GA with Kingdom Ezenwa officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
