Addie Lou Elrod's Obituary
Miss Addie Lou Elrod passed away September 9, 2013 at the age of 80. Addie Lou retired from Baptist Bookstore in Atlanta (now known as Lifeway Christian Bookstore.) She was the longest member of Concord Baptist Church and taught Sunday School there for 55 years.
Addie Lou is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters and is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews who will miss her.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM. The funeral service to honor her life will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Richard Wilkins and Rev. Eddie Barton officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered in memory of Addie Lou Elrod to the Concord Baptist Church Bus Fund, P.O. Box 1430, Mableton, GA 30126.
