Aaron Lewis Spinks' Obituary
Rev. Aaron Spinks age 93 of McDonough, formerly of Mableton passed away Thursday April 24, 2014.He was a World War II Veteran and Retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years. He graduated from Mercer University in Macon. Rev. Spinks also retired as a Baptist Minister serving at 1st Baptist Church Warner Robbins, Lezilla Baptist Church in Lizella, Worthville Baptist Church in Jackson, Sharon in McDonough, Stewart Baptist Church in Covington, High Point Baptist Church in Covington, Walker Baptist Church in Monroe , Calvary Baptist Church in Monroe, Lakeview Baptist Mission in Monticello, Lisbon Baptist Church in Fayetteville. He was a member of First Baptist of Jonesboro and past member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church in Mableton. Music was one of his passions and he taught piano, organ, guitar, and voice. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Wayne Lindsey of McDonough; grandchildren, Tammy and Daryl Castellaw, Jerry and Renee Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Gabe Jackson, Aaron and Chasity Lindsey, Hunter Castellaw, Roman Castellaw; great-great grandchildren, Sophia Senn , Isabella Senn, Milo Lindsey; brother, Jimmy Turner of Villa-Rica. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 4:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Chapel with Rev. Irvin Pearre officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
