William Leroy Cooper

Mr. Cooper passed away March 22, 2021 at his home in College Park, Georgia. He was survived by his brother Mr. Frank Cooper of Miami, Florida, sisters Mrs. Carolyn Lamdrum, and Mrs. Claire Simmons of Atlanta. In the late 80’s Leroy lost his wife, the love of his life, Helen. Mr. Cooper was very active with the Fraternal Order of the Moose, East Point and Mableton lodges. He was a Pilgrim of the Moose. He was also active with the East Point American Legion. He loved to play golf, and earlier in his life he participated in national putt putt tournaments. He graduated from Russell High School in 1958, attended Georgia Tech but was a devout Georgia Bulldawg Supporter.
