Carmen Angela Watts, age 58, of Austell passed away March 20, 2022. She is survived by her Mother, Iris Newton; Father, Austin & Rosetta Watts; Brothers, Chester Marshall, Richard Marshall, Elon Watts, and Bernel Watts, Jr.; Sisters, Brenda Richardson, Bernice "Barbie" Richardson, Arlene Watts, and Greta Watts; Sister-in-Law, Jasmine Marshall; Aunts, Elvie Williams and Family, Edith Cornibert and Family, and Bernice Lapps and Family; Nieces, Cjaye Marshall, Chestella Simpson, Shaquira Charles and Family, Akilah Willock, Diamond, Julisa, and Brianna Watts, and Aliah Felix; Nephews, Shaquille Charles and Family, Chester Marshall Jr., Jahbari, Jahkeas, Kehmanie, Jammeel, Jahnagi, Berneljr, B’Jorn, and Austin Watts, and Julius Felix; Great-Nieces and Nephews; Adopted Nieces, Sasha Arrindell and Family, Eliane (Gerda) Phebe-Eleonora and Family, Cherrianne Dangleben York, and Nathannia Golden. She was also related to the Marshall’s, Newton’s, Richardson’s, Watts, Williams, Cornibert’s, Lapps, Ottley’s, Philbert’s, and Decosta’s Families. Left to mourn Carmen’s passing are her special friends, Vania Senat and Family, Monika Lyons and Family, Nikisha Lee and Family; many close family and friends in Sint Maarten, St. Kitts, Tampa, FL, New York, Baltimore, North Carolina, England, and St. Thomas; and her colleagues at Publix Supermarket. The family gratefully acknowledges the many kind and beautiful expressions of love shown during Carmen’s illness and the expressions of sympathy during our time of bereavement. Special thanks to; Monika Lyons, Nikisha Lee, Vania Senat, Our Entire Family, Staff at Emory University Hospital, Management & Staff of Publix Supermarket, and former Colleagues at Sears. A memorial service honoring Carmen's life will be held Sunday, March 27th, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM before the service.
