Mary Jo Cottrill, age 59, of Powder Springs passed away January 16, 2021. Mary was a member of Beulah Church of Christ in Douglasville. She was born in 1961 to Joseph and Lola Alender in Louisville, KY, and graduated from Ahrens H Read Obituary
I got to meet her and the rest of the family at moonlite BBQ here in Owensboro when my uncle frank came. She will be missed

I'm sorry I can't be there with you today but am sending my love. Mary was the kindest ,sweetest person I have ever known. May you have peace in knowing how much she loved each and every one of you. Find peace in all your memories. God has welcomed her home into his loving arms.
Dear Cottrill family,
While Nelda and I will not be physically with you this afternoon, our thoughts and prayers will be. We understand the void that occurs when our loved ones are no longer with us. But, we are encouraged and comforted by the surety and promises of God in His Word.
In the letter to the christians at Phillippi, (Phil. 4:4-11) Paul says, "Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say rejoice! Let your forbearing spirit be known to all men, the Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all (human) comprehension, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
The song, "Peace, Perfect Peace" expresses much of the hope and assurance all christians have in our Lord and saviour.
