Harold “Punchy” Lankford, age 73 of Clarkdale passed away June 30, 2013. He was in the Ministry of Helps at FCF of South Cobb. Harold loved Andy Griffith and was Mr. Fix it for anybody that needed it. He was preceded in death by h Read Obituary

Daddy, I couldn't have asked for a better dad. I gave you and Mom such a hard time in my younger years but you forgave me for all my bad behavior and still loved me and supported me. You always brought a smile to my face and joy to my heart every time you would call and I would hear Jeanette say," What you want", I knew it was you calling and every time I would hear it I couldn't help but smile. Then when she would pick up the phone and call over there and you would answer, when she said "a million dollars" I knew she was talking to you too. She loved you so much and we both will miss you very much. I know you are enjoying your new home and if you see Andy and Barney, tell them I says hey. I love you Daddy and don't worry bout Mama, I am going to take good care of her.

"Mr. Punchy" as all the neighbors called him was a great man. I have a lot of childhood memories, living next to him for so many years. Elaine, Rodney and Barry I am so very sorry for your loss. Praying for peace and comfort.
