Allen, Jr, Dixon Randolph (Randy) Dixon R. “Randy “ Allen, 76, passed away in the 19th, January, 2018 after a long courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Randy was born in Anniston, Alabama to the late Dixon Randolph and Jess Read Obituary
Our family met the Allen's in Mississippi and enjoyed living down the street from them as we grew up (in Mableton). The Allen home was always a safe and fun place. Randy's infectious optimism and welcoming nature made all who visited feel special. Luckily even my own children got to know Mr. Randy as their elementary principal in Marietta and experience his positive energy and learned to love learning from him. He is remembered with much love.

I remember conversations with Jay’s Dad in earlier years when he would visit and walk our neighborhood. A kind, intelligent man who exhumed a light you could not help but be attracted to.

Mr Randy, was the second person we met when moved in the neighborhood. He made our neighborhood warm and happy just by his presence. His desire to see his neighbors come to know the Lord and love each other was his mission. I'm going to miss our conversations but I will continue to do what he and I talked about. Ms. Laura thanks for sharing him with us, we're praying for you and your family.

Laura, Jeff, Jay, Julie and family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. I don't have the words to express what Randy meant to us. We owe a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid. Randy was an inspiration, through all the suffering he endured his faith never waivered. That speaks volumes. We were blessed to have him in our life.
