W. Danny Huggins Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

W. Danny Huggins, age 66 of Marietta passed away December 10, 2021. Danny was owner and operator of Diversified Commercial Builders. He was a member of the Peachtree Masonic Lodge, Yaarab Shrine Center where he served as Potentate Year of 2017, and on the board of directors for Shriners Greenville Hospital. Danny was an avid outdoors man and especially loved hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Arlene Moody; brother, Johnny Huggins; sister, Jeri Huggins Campbell. Danny was survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Dona Huggins; daughters, Katie Chambers of Hiram; daughter, Jennifer Shirley of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Madison, Haley, Danielle, Hannah, and Will; sisters, Andrea Parham, Laney Sheffield, Lisa Curry, and Debbie Wilson; brother, Dennis Huggins; nephew, Jason Huggins and wife, Sandy. He is also survived by many more nieces, nephews, and extended family. Funeral Services will be held Monday 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis Bellamy officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Danny’s name to Shriners Hospital for Children Greenville, 950 W Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605.
