Robert Lake Price

Robert Lake Price, age 91 of Mableton passed away on Tuesday February 1, 2022 from heart complications. Known as Lake, he was born in Swainsboro, Georgia on February 10, 1930 and graduated from Ketterlinus High School in St. Augustine, Florida on June 9, 1950. Lake worked for the National Guard in Florida, California, and Georgia for over 30 years. He retired from Georgia Power in 1993. Lake enjoyed gardening and listening to audio books. He was a big baseball fan and especially loved the Atlanta Braves. He was married twice. He was married for 16 years to his first wife and then married to Marcie (Marcella) Katchuk Neal on February 19, 1972. He is survived by five children, Marsha Price Parham of Morrow Georgia; Robert Lake Price of Fayetteville Georgia; David Joseph Price of McDonough; Joseph Alden Price of Mableton; Bobby Lee Price of Falls Church, Virginia; two stepchildren, James Bryon Neal and Giles Monroe Neal both of Mableton. Lake is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Monday 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Cronin officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday from 12:00-2:00 PM.
